well, we could work on devising widespread, practical applications of new models to try and ease the demand of factory farming products. we could also hold the FDA accountable for their mistruths and set about accumulating real data over the amount of protein we really need, and educate consumers about how they are overconsuming (sick) meat, and probably significantly lower the number of people who suffer from heart disease in our country. or we could genetically lobotomize the pain sensors of the livestock so they can't recognize pain as being "unpleasant" and call it a day. i mean, they can still feel pain but that'll keep them out of trouble.
